Send abstracts to Dr. Von Mark Cruz (CruzVonMark@BFUSA.com). Indicate in your e-mail the Division in which you which to present your research (Oilseeds, General Crops, Rubber and Resins, Fiber and Cellulosics, Medicinal and Nutraceutical) and if oral or poster presentation. 

Note: Abstracts in Energy or Biomass crops will be presented in the General Crops Division
Abstracts instructions:

Write the abstract in only one paragraph, single spaced, Times New Roman 12, 1” margins, with full justification.  Use SI units (kg/ha, Mg/ha, L, m, cm, g). All plant Latin names including authority must be included the first time a common name is indicated, example castor bean (Ricinus communis L.) even in the title.  The abstract must include rationale, objectives, materials and methods, results and conclusions. Include your contact information at the bottom of the page. An abstract example can be found here.

AAIC Student Travel Grants

*Deadline to submit application for student travel support is June 30, 2019*

AAIC will award $500 travel grants to students conducting research with industrial crops.  Up to two travel awards will be given to each of the standing divisions in AAIC.  Applications should include: 1) a brief application letter stating the student's current research and career goals, 2) an abstract of the research being presented, and 3) a letter of support from their major professor

The selected students will be required to give a 20 minute oral presentation during a division technical session at the annual conference.
